Ingredients
- •1 cup <strong>Soya milk</strong> (200 ml*)
- •1 cup <strong>Milk</strong> (250ml *)
- •2 tbsp <strong>Ragi malt </strong> ((Nachni satva)- 20-25 gms)
- •1 tbsp <strong>Oats </strong> (heaped, coarsely powdered)
- •1 tbsp <strong>Organic jaggery powder or sugar </strong> (15gms or to taste)
- •1 tbsp <strong>Drinking chocolate powder (Hot chocolate) </strong> ((Optional) )
- •1 tsp <strong>Garden-cress seeds</strong> ((soaked in water for 7-10 minutes))
- •1 pd <strong>Cardamom </strong> (or vanilla essence-few drops)
- •2 tsp <strong>Almond slivers</strong>
Method
- 1Blend the ragi flour and oats powder with soymilk and milk in a cooking pan
- 2Add the drinking chocolate and mix well
- 3Boil the mixture together for 5-7 minutes stirring continuously
- 4Add the sugar or jaggery
- 5Add the soaked garden-cress seeds, cardamom pd/vanilla essence
- 6Add the almond slivers, mix well
- 7Serve hot

Soya milk is a treasure of good quality protein, milk too contributes protein and calcium
Nachni/Ragi is a good source of fibre and micronutrients like calcium and iron
