Ingredients
- •½ cup Black dates- deseeded and finely chopped
- •2 tbsp Almonds -chopped
- •2 tbsp Pistachios - chopped
- •2 tbsp Walnuts - chopped
- •1 tbsp Flax seeds (roasted)
- •1 tbsp Garden cress seeds (previously soaked for 10 minutes)
- •1 tbsp Sesame seeds (roasted)
- •1 tbsp Poppy seeds -for coating (slightly roasted)
- •½ tsp Ghee
- •1 tbsp Desiccated coconut - for coating
Method
- 1In a non-stick pan, melt the ghee and stir in the almonds, pistachios, walnuts, flax seeds, soaked garden cress seeds, and sesame seeds.
- 2Then add the dates and keep stirring constantly for 5 to 7 minutes till the mixture forms a ball
- 3Cool and divide the mixture into four equal sections and shape into elongated roll
- 4Roll into harden the poppy seeds and desiccated coconut and refrigerate for 15 – 20 mins
