Ingredients
- •4-5 Tomatoes (medium sized)
- •½ cup Guava (chopped)
- •½ cup Green/black grapes - halved
- •½ cup Apple (chopped)
- •¼ cup Pomegranate seeds
- •1 tbsp Mint leaves (chopped)
- •½ tsp Flax seeds (slightly roasted and coarsely crushed)
- •½-¾ tbsp Honey
- •½ tsp Fennel seeds (slightly roasted and coarsely crushed)
- •¼ tsp Cinnamon powder
- •½ tsp Crushed pepper
- •2 tsp Roasted Jeera powder
- •1 tsp Rock Salt
- •1 tbsp Orange juice (or to taste)
- •*Seasonal fruits of your choice can also be added
- •* To reduce recipe preparation time chaat masala can be used in place of multiple spices
Method
- 1Cut tomatoes lengthwise into two, scoop out the center and keep in the fridge to chill. (Scooped out tomatoes can be used to make a puree)
- 2In a mixing bowl, combine all the fruits, finely chopped mint leaves, rock salt, spices, and lime juice.
- 3It should be well mixed and chilled.
- 4Just before serving, fill in the fruit chaat into the scooped-out tomatoes and serve.
- 5Hung curd or a small amount of crumbled paneer can also be added if desired.
