Ingredients
- •½ cup Apples (cut into cubes)
- •¼ cup Black Grapes (cut into two)
- •¼ cup Green Grapes (cut into two if large)
- •2 tbsp Red pomegranate seeds
- •¼ cup Capsicum (cubed)
- •¼ cup Cucumber (cubed)
- •1½ cup Thick curds*
- •2 tbsp Skim milk powder*
- •1 tbsp Walnuts, crushed
- •15 gms Raisins
- •½ tsp Crushed pepper-corns
- •¼ tsp Mustard powder
- •2 tsp Celery stalks, finely chopped
- •3 tsp Honey
- •Salt – to taste
Method
- 1Mix the skim milk powder well into warm milk and set curds using a starter
- 2Place the cut apples, grapes, pomegranate, cucumber, capsicum in a bowl and chill for a while
- 3In another bowl combine the thick curds, crushed pepper corns, honey, salt, mustard powder, and celery
- 4Add the chilled fruits and vegetables to the curd mixture, add walnuts and raisins, adjust the seasonings
- 5Transfer into a serving dish
- 6Serve with crushed low fat “Khakra” or toasted bread crotons
- 7You may use seasonal fruits and vegetables of your choice
