Ingredients
- •½ cup Rice rava or jowar rava
- •½ cup Urad dal
- •¼ cup Chana dal
- •¼ cup Oats
- •2-3 tbsp Curds
- •½ inch Ginger
- •1-2 Green chili
- •1 tsp Methi seeds
- •1 tsp Sugar
- •¾ tsp Rye
- •¼ tsp Ajwain
- •2 tsp Til
- •1-2 tsp Green chili
- •Few Curry leaves
- •3 pinches Hing
- •2 tsp Oil
Method
- 1Soak urad dal, chana, methi seeds and oats for 3 to 4 hours
- 2Grind into a smooth paste by adding ginger andgreen chilli
- 3Mix in the idli rava/jowar rava, curds and sugar, keep toferment for 3 to 4 hours and add salt to taste and mix gently
- 4Grease a dhokla thali or a pressure cookerseparator with oil
- 5Spoon out some batter into two thalis ifneeded, steam for 15 minutes
- 6Open, cut into cubes or diamond shapes make a vaghar of ingredients B
- 7Quickly put one tablespoon of water into the vaghar

Chef's Notes
Semolina, Chana Dal, urad dal and Oats are a healthy source of carbohydrates and fiber.
Soluble fibre in fenugreek seeds (trigonella foenum graecum) helps reduce blood sugar by slowing carbohydrate digestion and absorption.
