Ingredients
- •1 cup, 200ml Milk
- •1 cup Soya milk
- •1 tbsp 15gms Fine Semolina(rava), (roasted)
- •1 tbsp Skim milk powder/Whey powder
- •1 tbsp Milk masala (optional)
- •1 Cardamom, powdered
- •2-3 tbsp approx. Sugar or Honey- to taste
- •1 tbsp Garden-cress seeds(haliv) (soaked for 7-10 minutes in water)
- •Almond Slivers & raisins for garnish (optional)
Method
- 1Mix milk, Soya milk, skim milk powder/whey, cardamom pd, in a cooking pan
- 2Add the roasted rava and cook on low flame for 5 minutes, stirring it
- 3Add the honey/sugar, stir
- 4Add the soaked garden-cress, milk masala (if using)
- 5When it thickens put off the flame, check for sweetness, adjust it to taste
- 6Pour out in to a bowl, serve garnished with almond slivers and raisins.
Chef's Notes
* Porridge can be served hot or cold, You may adjust the thickness of the porridge to your preference.
