Ingredients
- •1 cup Jowar flour
- •1 cup Whole wheat flour
- •3 tbsp Sesame seeds
- •¾ tbsp Ajwain, crushed
- •1 tbsp Salt or to taste
- •3 tbsp Oil for smearing and frying
Method
- 1In a deep dish mix the two flours well with salt, sesame seeds and ajwain
- 2Knead a pliable dough using sufficient warm water and keep covered for about 10 minutes
- 3Roll out into medium sized rotis
- 4Heat a griddle/tava and cook the rotis slightly on both the sides
- 5Smear a little oil evenly on each side, and cook on a moderate flame pressing down with a flat spoon
- 6When done well on both sides, serve hot with curry or vegetable of your choice
- 7To make masala dodha add chopped methi leaves, green chilies and onions while kneading the dough
