Ingredients
- •1½ cup Rice rava
- •1½ cup *Jowar rava or oats powder (rava like texture)
- •1½ cup Urad dal
- •1 tsp Methi seeds
- •1 tsp Sugar
- •Salt to taste
- •<em>*Can use Jowar rava totally ,ie 3 cups, in place of rice rava</em>
Method
- 1Soak urad dal and methi seeds in enough water for 4 to 5 hours
- 2Grind the urad dal and methi seeds to a smooth batter using enough water
- 3Soak the rice rava and jowar rava or oats powder (coarse) separately in water for 15 minutes, squeeze out the water
- 4Grind minimally the rice rava plus jowar rava or rice rava plus coarse oats powder
- 5Mix it into the urad dal batter
- 6Beat well and 1 tsp sugar
- 7Keep to ferment for 5 to 6 hours

Fibre, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, and folate are all found in jowar or jowar flour
Semolina and urad dal are high in magnesium and fibre
