Ingredients
- •1½ cups Red pumpkin (peeled, cubed)
- •¼ cup Onion (sliced)
- •½ tbsp Soya flour or oats flour
- •½-¾ cup Milk
- •4-5 Garlic cloves
- •½-¾ tsp Cumin seeds
- •8 Pepper corns (crushed)
- •¼-½ tsp Chili powder (or to taste)
- •¼ tsp Turmeric powder
- •1 small Cinnamon stick
- •2-3 Ghee/Oil or butter
- •Salt to taste
Method
- 1In a pressure cooker add the oil/ghee, add sliced onions, cinnamon stick, cumin seeds, crushed pepper corns and garlic
- 2Sauté for 2-3 minutes, add the peeled and cubed red pumpkin, sauté for a minute
- 3Add the turmeric and chili powder, add salt and sauté again
- 4Add the flour, sauté for a minute
- 5Add about a cup of water
- 6Close the lid and cook for one whistle and 5 minutes on low flame
- 7When the cooker cools, open, cool the contents, remove the cinnamon stick

Milk adds an excellent quality protein to the recipe while pumpkin is low in calories and high in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
