Ingredients
- •1 ½ cup Coarsely powdered oats
- •½ cup Thick besan
- •2-3 tbsp Fine Rava
- •½-¾ cup Grated bottle gourd
- •1 ½ cup Finely chopped methi leaves (Squeeze out excess moisture)
- •½ tsp Turmeric powder
- •1 tsp Chili powder
- •½ inch Grated ginger
- •2 tsp Roasted Sesame seeds
- •1 tsp Dhana jeera powder
- •¾ - 1 tsp Sugar
- •3-4 tbsp Curd
- •1 tbsp Oil
- •Salt-to-taste
- •2 tsp Oil
- •½ tsp Rai
- •½ tsp Ajwain
- •2 tbsp Sesame seeds
- •1-2 chopped Green chili
Method
- 1Combine all ingredients (Except the vaghar ingredients) in a mixing bowl add just enough water to bind the mixture
- 2Heat water in a steamer or a pressure cooker
- 3Lightly grease the separator with oil
- 4Make cylindrical rolls of the mixture
- 5Place in the steamer and steam for 15 minutes
- 6Open, cool, and cut into medium slices
- 7Make a vaghar of oil, rai, til, ajwain and hing, and pour over the sliced mutthias
- 8Garnish with scraped coconut and coriander leaves, serve
