Ingredients
- •3 tbsp (20gms) Poha, washed
- •1 cup (100gms raw) Spinach- clean, wash, blanched
- •3 tbsp pulp + 1 tbsp scrapings for garnish Tender coconut bits*
- •250gms Greek yogurt (any thick curd if Greek yogurt is not available)
- •2 tbsp Skim milk powder/ whey powder-
- •2 tbsp Sabja or chia -seeds (Soak in water)
- •Rock salt - to taste
- •Pounded pepper- totaste
- •Fruit bits forgarnish- apple/ nuts of your choice
- •*You may use avocado or dragon fruit in place of tender coconut
Method
- 1Wash, and blanch spinach (Do not boil it)
- 2In a blender add all Ingredients : except the soaked “sabja” seeds and blend to a smooth paste, preferably chill for some time (You may keep some tender coconut scrapings for garnish)
- 3Mix in the soaked “Sabja” seeds
- 4Transfer the spinach- curd smoothie in to a serving bowl and garnish with scraped coconut and bits of apple and or chopped nuts of your choice serve cooled.
- 5You may serve with cereal of your choice.
