Ingredients
- •6-7 Tomatoes (medium size, red)
- •1 medium Orange carrot
- •1 small Onion
- •2 tbsp Soya flour
- •2 tbsp Beetroot, medium size piece (30gms)
- •3-4 cloves Garlic
- •8-10 Finely chopped basil leaves
- •Salt-to taste
- •½- ¾ tsp Crushed pepper
- •2 tsp Olive oil
- •2 tsp Butter
- •Parmesan cheese or grated cheese for serving as desired (optional)

Method
- 1Clean wash and cut all vegetables
- 2Heat oil and butter in a small pressure cooker, and add onions, garlic and carrots and beetroot.
- 3Saute for few minutes, add the soya flour,saute
- 4Add tomatoes and saute for 3 to 4 minutes.
- 5Add sufficient water to cover all the vegetables
- 6Add salt sugar and pepper powder pressure cook for 1 whistle and few minutes
- 7Open when cooled. Blend well and add some water to the pureed vegetables
- 8Simmer on low flame, if too thick you can add a little more water

Basil and tomatoes are an excellent source of protective micronutrients and heart friendly
